1. Who We Are

Horizon Desk is developed and maintained by OATH Studio, based in Canada. This privacy policy applies to the Horizon Desk application available on Meta Quest devices.

2. Information We Collect

None. Horizon Desk does not collect, transmit, store on external servers, or share any personal information whatsoever. This includes but is not limited to:

• Names, email addresses, or contact information
• Location data
• Usage analytics or behavioural data
• Device identifiers
• The content of your notes, tasks, or calendar entries
• Crash reports or diagnostic data

3. Local Storage

All data you create within Horizon Desk including notes, tasks, alarms, and app preferences is stored exclusively in local storage on your Meta Quest device. This data is never sent to any server operated by OATH Studio or any third party. Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all locally stored data.

4. Third-Party Services

Horizon Desk does not integrate with any third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, or data brokers. The app does not contain any tracking SDKs or third-party libraries that collect user data.

The app is distributed through the Meta Quest platform. Meta's own privacy policy governs any data collected by the Meta platform itself. We encourage you to review Meta's privacy policy at meta.com/privacy.

5. Children's Privacy

Because Horizon Desk does not collect any personal information from any users, there are no special considerations with respect to children under the age of 13 (COPPA) or children under the age of 16 (PIPEDA). No data is collected from anyone.

6. Your Rights Under PIPEDA

As a Canadian company we comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Since we collect no personal information, there is no data for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You retain full control of all data stored locally on your device.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this privacy policy for example, if a future version of Horizon Desk introduces optional features that involve data we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users through the app. We will never introduce data collection without being transparent about it.
